I work in the field of nonequilibrium statistical mechanics. My research is mainly about the numerical modeling of active particles. Specifically, we are working on lattice models (similar to simple exclusion processes) for active particles. These systems exhibit unique phenomena like motility-induced phase separation, enhanced diffusion coefficient, or ratchet effect.
