Low temperature plasma for human medicine


The project is focused on applied / experimental development of equipment for low temperature plasma (NTP) generation for use in human medicine. The subject of the project is the development of equipment for low-temperature plasma generation, research and verification of efficiency and safety of NTP for human medicine, introduction of methodology of use and in the last phase ensuring certification and production of plasma devices and their distribution. The expected potential for the application of NTP is expected primarily in the sterilization of biological and heat-sensitive surfaces, the treatment of chronic and infected wounds, pressure ulcers, burns and other dermatological indications, as well as in cosmetics, dentistry or surgery.
