Abstract
The project enabled Czech scientists, including students and postgraduates, to work at the prominent synchrotron radiation source at the ESRF and to acquire new original scientific results in the broad spectra of disciplines. Most of these results could not be achieved using other facilities at all. According to the recent statistics, 159 shifts were provided to the Czech applicants.
