THz spectrometers were developed and built in the laboratory; they are pumped by optical femtosecond lasers (Coherent, Spectra Physics). These experiments allow measurements of complex THz dielectric or conductivity spectra of bulk materials and thin films in the transmission mode. Facilities: broad range of temperatures (4-900 K), external electric or magnetic (up to 7 T) field. The setups enable also time-resolved optical pump – THz probe measurements of ultrafast photoconductivity.
