Charakteristika pisemne prace (What should be in your essay)

V prvni casti shrnte problematiku, ktera je predmetem Vaseho doktorandskeho studia. V druhe casti ukazte souvislost Vasi experimentalni problematiky s vybranym tematem prednasky (napr. elektronova struktura povrchu). Tema zvolte tak, aby vznikla pisemna prace byla vyuzitelna i k jine Vasi prezentaci.

(First you will summarize the state of art of your investigation. Second you relate it to some lecture presented in this series.)

Prace musi vyjadrovat Vase stanovisko ke zvolenemu tematu!!! (The paper must express your position to the selected subject!!!

Optimalni osnova eseje (Example):
1) stav teorie pro tema me disertace / What is known from the theory and theoretical simulations about the investigated phenomenon
2) jak vyuziji teoretickych vysledku k interpretaci "meho" experimentu" / how I will use the theoretical results for the interpretation of "my" experiment.

Nevyhovujici prace: Referat nebo pouze vysvetleni metody/experimentu/teoretickeho formalismu!!!
Inconvenient paper: Simple report containing only a description of method/experiment/theory!!!

Pisemnou praci vypracujte v anglickem (ceskem) jazyce ve Vasem oblibenem textovem editoru (prvni strana bude obsahovat nazev prace a Vase jmeno) zkonvertujte do formatu PDF a odeslete v terminu na adresu 'maca@fzu.cz'. Prace podane po terminu nebudou zarazeny na porad seminare.

(The essay should be delivered on time and in the pdf format. On the first page write the title and your name.)

Minimalni rozsah prace: 5 stran A4. (Minimal length: 5 pages A4.)

Format: essay = literary composition
