Pozn.: Dle RNGC neexistuje. According to Harold G. Corwin, Jr., there is no immediately obvious cluster at his position, but about two arcmin northwest there is a clump of stars, four arcmin by two arcmin in size, that might be his object, this is on the southeastern edge of a much larger clump (roughly 10 arcmin by 8 arcmin) that could also be JH's object. Neither is particularly striking, but the former has been identified as a real cluster.

Telementor - 21x (ATC40): nic, co by připománalo rozlehlou otevřenou hvězdokupu. Na severním okraji je drobná mlhavá skupinka slabších hvězd, které trochu vypadají jako otevřená hvězdokupa. Jak jsem zjistil doma, dle H. G. Corwina, Jr. není v místě reportovaném J. Herschlem žádná hvězdokupa a uvádí, že severozápadně je drobný shluk hvězd o velikosti 4'x2', který by mohl být tím, co J. Herschel pozoroval. Tento shluk hvězd je dle Corwina opravdovou otevřenou hvězdokupou.
