Research Scientist in Magnetism and/or Superconductivity

Perex

We are currently looking for an enthusiastic and highly motivated experienced candidate who has performed excellent research in magnetism, superconductivity, or related phenomena and has worked with solid-state or molecular systems. Experimentalists and theoreticians aspiring to lead are both welcome.

Text

The relevant research areas include, for example, exotic quantum magnetic states, magnetic frustration, magnetism in low-dimensional systems, molecular magnetism, CISS effect, magnetotransport, superconductivity, magnon-related phenomena, topological phenomena, etc.

What you will do

  • Develop own research topic, while collaborating with other members of the department
  • Submit competitive project proposals within both national (Czech Science Foundation) and European (ERC, EIC, etc.) calls
  • Associate postdoc researchers (e.g., through MSCA/MSCA CZ/P4F) and establish own research group
  • Perform excellent research and publish in well-established journals on a regular basis
  • Foster collaboration and communication with other international partners, group members, students, and FZU staff

What we expect
