The Institute of Physics operates two libraries at its two main centres at “Na Slovance” and “Cukrovarnická”. They were established to serve as reference pools for researchers of the Institute of Physics. The libraries only allow for registration of readers who are staff members of the Institute of Physics; for this reason, services provided to the public are limited. For details about the services for the public, please follow the links below.

The electronic catalogue of the library only contains library units such as books, collections, study materials/textbooks. Inventories of journals are compiled in separate lists.

Library at “Na Slovance” - Summary of Services

The library at “Na Slovance” operates a study room; this is where literature may be borrowed (not to be taken away) from free collections; the collections include books and printed journals, anthologies, newspapers, etc. The study also provides a PC with subscribed access to electronic journals and e-books. We recommend that other readers who are interested in the book collections of the library at “Na Slovance” use the interlibrary loan service provided by their home library (i.e. the library where they are registered as readers).
