The Hielscher ultrasonic device UP200S uses power of 200 W and frequency of 24 kHz. The amplitude is adjustable from 20 to 100 % and pulse from 0 to 100 %. It is posible to sonicate volumes from 0,1 to 2000 ml. The titanium sonotrodes available have tip diameter of 1, 2 and 7 mm. The device is very effective in the homogenizing, emulsifying, extracting and degassing or in the disruption of cells.
