InGaN nanostructures for sunlight photocatalytic water splitting

Text

This topic of research/investigation involves structures based on InGaN nanorods and their applications for photocatalytic water splitting and solar hydrogen production. The research is based on three different types of 3D structures based on InGaN (as a suitable material for solar water splitting) with geometry-increasing photocatalytic active surface. Two of these structures have a new, original architecture for efficient and fast separation of photogenerated electron-hole pairs based on the polarisation field in the nitride heterostructure.
