Decomposition and analysis of inorganic materials

Text

We develop methods for decomposition and determination of individual elements in rare and atypical materials of the oxidic type (PbWO4, KTaO3, LiNbO3) and determine trace impurities and dopants in them using gravimetrical method, titration, photometric and UV-VIS spectrometry.

We carry out analyzes of lead chlorides and bromides also in mutual mixtures and determination of metallic impurities and oxygen content in them.

In metals and their alloys we determine the main constituents and impurities using mainly atomic absorption spectrometry wih flame atomization. We use the atomic absorption spectrometer equipped with single-element and multi-element hollow-cathode lamps, so it is possible to quantitatively determine the contents of a majority of the periodic table elements.
