Transmission optical elements for securing banknotes and documents using selective deposition of a thin-film structure

The subject of the presented project is to develop completely new optical security elements that can be used on modern banknotes and plastic documents. Modern materials and production technologies have made it possible to integrate transparent areas into banknotes, both paper and polymer, and plastic documents. These transparent areas allow the placement of security features of a new type, elements that can interact in a sophisticated way with the image behind the banknote and the document thanks to the transparent area.
