Perovskite films with advanced passivation and structure

Abstract

This project is dedicated to understanding the role of defects in limiting photovoltaic performance and developing effective passivation routes to achieve further performance advances. Its innovation potential lies in increasing the efficiency of future perovskite-based devices via targeting the nonradiative traps at the surfaces and interfaces and their efficient passivation. Based on these results, we will be able to design perovskite absorbers with minimum recombination losses.
