NOVÉ MATERIÁLOVÉ KONCEPCE PRO RYCHLÉ SCINTILÁTORY (N-SCIMAT)

Abstract

The aim of this project is the continuation and extension of the collaboration with the team of Prof. A. Yoshikawa at Tohoku university, Sendai, Japan in R&D of scintillation materials. Similarly as in past years new material concepts will be realized at Japanese side and characterize at Czech one. We propose 3-year project which will focus on the following: 1) Multiply doped (Nd,Er,Tm) single crystal fluorides for VUV scintillators 2) Fluorides and oxided base on lithium compounds doped by fast luminescence centers (Ce, Pr,Bi,Pb) for neutron detection 3) Multiply doped aluminum perovskites and garnets for application in medicine and industry
