“Center of nanotechnology and materials for nanoelectronics” will concentrate to those regions of nanoelectronics, which will allow the use of unique quantum effects, but require the solution of problems in 3 basic research directions: I) discovery of new photon sources, which will allow the transfer of information by photons, II) the use of spin of charge carriers in a semiconductor nanostructures for information savings and transfer, III) preparation and properties of nanostructures on carbon basis. The important aim of the Center is formation of inter-domain platform, missing in the Czech Republic, connecting physics, chemistry, electronics and biology. Project partners will test connection of research in a region of Si and carbon nanostructures, integration of optoelectronic and spintronic structures.
