Summary
The Central Unit ensures executive, administrative, and organizational agenda of the institute, providing targeted support and facilitation services for research, development, innovative and educational activities at the FZU.
Text
The Central Unit consists of three departments: Secretariat of the Director, Computing and Networking Department, and Scientific Library. The agenda of the Central Unit involves:
- administrative and legal support for the director of the FZU
- preparation and coordination of strategic development documents of the FZU
- coordination of conceptual tasks in collaboration with research divisions and administrative units
- coordination and preparation of materials for annual reports and evaluations of research and professional activities of the FZU
- support in the area of international cooperation and internationalization of the FZU
- public and media outreach
- grant support for researches
- IT operations and development of information and communication technologies
- information management, storage, and retrieval
