Planar optical structures and security elements based on multilayer systems

Abstract

The basic goals and outputs of the project are: - To master the technology of low-temperature deposition of thin films on a polymer with an optical nanostructured surface. The layers will have a defined absorption coefficient in the desired range of wavelengths (color absorption filter) and furthermore these layers will have defined electrical properties such as electrical conductivity and dielectric constant. These will be layers mainly based on metal oxides (TiO2, TiO2-x, WO3, WO3-x, Fe2O3, VO2). - To manage the characterization of the parameters of deposited layers and use this knowledge for material identification of layers. - Use the acquired knowledge to create layers for optical elements and optical protective elements based on DOVID. - Master the technology of low-temperature deposition of thin films on nanostructured surfaces with a defined area distribution (collimated sources of deposition parts).
