Physical Property Measurement System (PPMS)

PPMS 14 is an universal instrument, offering a variety of measurement options commonly used in characterization of material properties (heat capacity, thermal and electrical conductivity, magnetotransport, magnetization) in large magnetic fields up to 14T and temperature range 2-400K (in the case of heat capacity and electrical resistivity measurements can be extended down to 0.4K using the ³He insert). In addition, pressure cells compatible with the instrument can be used for measuring electrical transport properties under high hydrostatic pressures ~ 10 GPa.
