The vacuum furnace is intended for melting and gravity casting of pure metals or metallic alloys. The furnace allows melting in medium vacuum or in an argon atmosphere. The maximum temperature depends on the composition and geometry of the batch. At suitable conditions, it is possible to reach temperatures about 2000 °C.
