In-liquid microwave PECVD system

Plasma in-liquid is a new technology for liquid treatment, and the synthesis of nanomaterials, and is an emerging technology in diamond synthesis. Silver, platinum, ZnO, carbon nanotubes, gold, Sn and SnO₂, aluminium, carbon nano-onions have been prepared using in-liquid plasma methods. Recent reports show that diamond grows in atmospheric microwave plasma of the vapour of the organic liquid precursors (e.g. methanol, ethanol, kerosene) at high deposition rate. The MNB group has developed a lab-made in-liquid microwave plasma to study the synthesis of diamond using this new technology.
