Abstract
Processing of polymetallic ores, especially deep sea nodules, is always considered as extraction of individual metals. This project brings completely new approach, i.e. to reduce the ore in a single step without any separation process. Such new metallurgical approach will not only save the costs, but also generate whole new alloys. The properties of these new alloys will be tested as sole materials and also as the additive for aluminium alloys. The processing of the deep sea nodules will be considered complexly, solving also possible extraction of remaining elements of interest from a slag.
