Source of monochromatic light

The system consists of a Xe lamp (model APOLLO X-600, equipped with a 450 W arc bulb and stabilized power supply), a remotely controlled Czerny-Turner type monochromator (model ATLAS 300) with filter wheels and shutter, delivering light to a 6” integrating sphere. The monochromator turret has two gratings installed: Grating 1: 1800 g/mm; 400 nm blaze; 2.7 nm/mm dispersion at the slit plane; Grating 2: 600 g/mm; 1000 nm blaze; 5.4 nm/mm dispersion at the slit plane.
