Robotic telescopes primarily for atmospheric monitoring with additional ability for astronomical observations (operated remotely from Prague). Five are currently in operation - one at ORM, La Palma, Spain, and two both at the Pierre Auger Observatory, Argentina and at ESO in Chile. All contain a wide-field setup (G4 CCD with a lens of 300 or 135 mm focal length), the second FRAM at Auger (Coihueco site) also operates a C4 CMOS camera with the same resolution and optics to facilitate a direct comparison of the two technologies. The older Auger FRAM (Los Leones site) and the ORM FRAM also have a mid-size telescope (30 and 25 cm, with G4 and G2 cameras respectively).
