Interest in Open Days Steadily Growing

Each site of the Institute had a special programme, designed particularly for students with a deep interest in physics, and last but not least, the laser centres sites in Dolní Břežany had rich programme activities for the general public.
The festival received more than 17 000 visitors who wished to learn more about research, its practical application and new technologies.
The best students will receive an internship offer to work in research teams to be able to get some more detailed insight into the research in laser physics as part of other activities.
The first place in the competition Photogenic Science belongs to a photo by dr. Filip Dominec called "A stain on semiconductor sample" which recalls a medieval town.
Every year, as part of the Week of Science and Technology, the Institute of Physics organizes Open Doors Days which have been visited by more than 1000 people interested in physics and modern science and technology this year.
The Researchers’ Night was visited by 550 visitors who got to know the top-class persons in the current physical research in the Czech Republic.
