Dr. Utpal Dutta is currently working as a postdoctoral researcher at the Institute of Physics, Czech Academy of Sciences since February 2021. His current research activities include studies of high-pressure structural, electronic and magnetic properties of magnetic topological materials and magnetic van der Waals compounds.
Research Interest:
- High-pressure physics, focusing on properties of materials under extreme conditions of high pressure, low temperature, and high magnetic field.
- Transport and magneto-transport studies of various topological materials.
- Synchrotron-based structural and spectroscopic investigations under pressure.
- Raman spectroscopic investigations of materials under high-pressure conditions.
