As a member of Department 26, I am responsible for the Laboratory of light and scanning electron microscopy. My research focuses on the preparation and microscopic characterization of thin-film materials for solar energy conversion, with particular emphasis on halide perovskites in recent years.
In addition to my scientific work, I am actively involved in science outreach, particularly in the fields of microscopy and photovoltaics. I initiated the project Microscopy Unveiled at FZU (Mikroskopické okénko FZU) and regularly organize excursions related to electron microscopy for both students and teachers. I also contribute to the department’s outreach activities, such as the Science Fair, Researchers’ Night, and Open Days. Furthermore, I participate in the Open Science program, where I mentor high school students during research internships.
