Student Workshops

Student Workshops

Organization of biennial student workshops in Prague. The two-day workshop starts by a morning session which features 4 hours of presentations by students of all levels plus one overview presentation by an experienced Czech physicist. Afternoon session has two lectures by a foreign experienced lecturer, followed by one or two lectures in the morning of the following day. The aim is to provide a platform for students to present their works and get feedback from experts. Discussions can be very informal.

The agendas of past workshops:

Student workshop on Standard Model and QCD physics 2022 (lecturer Roman Pasechnik)

Student workshop on Standard Model and QCD physics 2018 (lecturer Roman Pasechnik)

Student workshop on Heavy ion physics 2016 (lecturer Cyrille Marquet)

Student workshop on Jet physics and jet algorithms 2015 (lecturer Gregory Soyez)
