Julie Nekola Nováková is a science communicator and scientist active in science outreach and education. She's leading the Physics at Five program, organizing scicomm activities (including scicomm skills-building panels and workshops for scientists) and developing new outreach materials.
Before joining FZU, she created e.g. the outreach anthologies of the European Astrobiology Institute, Strangest of All and Life Beyond Us. At the FZU, she has created worksheets for teachers, an anthology Physics of The Future (published in Czech as Fyzika budoucnosti in spring 2025) and comics Secrets of the Nano World (available in both Czech and English), co-organized the science art exhibition Reflections and organizes FZU's Theatre Days. She studied evolutionary biology and remains an active scientist (at the Faculty of Science, Charles University).
