Preparation and study of functionalized nano-carbon composites surfaces: carbon nanotubes and graphene in electrocatalytic applications

Abstract

Nano-carbons composites (NCC) based on carbon nanotubes and graphene are perspective materials for constructing new fuel cells. These materials will be prepared at the Institute of Physical Chemistry Polish Academy of Sciences. Within international cooperation, NCC's surface properties will be characterized by XPS, XAS, EPES, and EELS methods at the electron spectroscopy laboratory at the Institute of Physics CAS. Obtained results will be applied for the improvements of the NCC parameters.
