Ing. Anastasiia Skvortsova, Ph.D.
My research focuses on the study of single nanoparticles and their interactions with molecules. I am particularly interested in surface functionalization strategies for micro- and nanochannels to control interfacial properties and enable advanced sensing applications.
My background includes extensive experience in Surface-Enhanced Raman Spectroscopy (SERS) and the nanofabrication of nanoparticles with diverse geometries, including chiral gold helicoids. I have investigated surface chemistry approaches such as diazonium- and iodonium salt-based grafting strategies, the growth of metal-organic frameworks (MOFs) on polymeric surfaces, and the coating of gold substrates with 2D materials. I also have experience in biomolecular detection, including DNA and miRNA analysis.
Currently, I am developing strategies that integrate spectroscopic techniques with Nanofluidic Scattering Microscopy to enable label-free detection and analysis of biomolecules at the single-entity level.
