Temperature and microstructure dependence of localized tensile deformation of superelastic NiTi wires

Perex

The work presents result of systematic study of deformation mechanisms acting in NiTi shape memory alloy thermomechanically loaded in wide temperature range. An earlier mechanics model of the autors is updated to account for TRIP like deformation of NiTi at elevated temperatures and stresses.
