State of the art in the area of experiments and theory focusing deformation mechanisms in NiTi shape memory alloys at elevated temperatures and stresses was analýzed and presented in review article published in high impacted review journal Progress in Materials science. Results of a series of unique thermomechanical loading experiments on thin NiTi filaments were presented and new model of thermomechanical behavior of NiTi at elevated temperatures and stresses was introduced.
