At the moment, students can participate in an Internet round of the competition at the following website: www.talentovka.cz. During a three-day finale in October, twelve best competitors will check out the simulation of a scientific experiment at professional laboratories of the laser centres.
If you wish to have the best scientific team to be in the front line of global science, you need to start looking for its members at an early stage. Ideally at a secondary school level.
The Institute of Physics of the Czech Academy of Sciences received a record amount of 1670 visitors during its Open Days
More than one thousand visitors attended the Researchers’ Night Festival at the Institute of Physics
Each site of the Institute had a special programme, designed particularly for students with a deep interest in physics, and last but not least, the laser centres sites in Dolní Břežany had rich programme activities for the general public.
The festival received more than 17 000 visitors who wished to learn more about research, its practical application and new technologies.
The best students will receive an internship offer to work in research teams to be able to get some more detailed insight into the research in laser physics as part of other activities.
The first place in the competition Photogenic Science belongs to a photo by dr. Filip Dominec called "A stain on semiconductor sample" which recalls a medieval town.
