On Thursday, 26 February 2026, Vincent Mortet delivered a lecture as a guest speaker at the joint NANO Seminar and the NANOCENT project seminar at the Faculty of Mathematics and Physics, Charles University.
In his lecture, he focused on diamond growth and doping using the Plasma Enhanced Chemical Vapor Deposition (PECVD) method. He presented the fundamental principles of growth, key process parameters, and their influence on the structure of the prepared layers. Special attention was given to the growth of doped diamond by PECVD, focusing on the three most relevant dopants for electronic and quantum applications—boron, phosphorus, and nitrogen. Finally, recent results from the AD2M research group were presented, together with current research directions and remaining challenges in the field.
