At the HiLASE Centre, we offer our superb research infrastructure to other users, completely free of charge. In order to apply for the beamtime in our facility, you only need to send us your proposal via the electronic HiLASE Open Access Proposal Management System. The right time to apply is just now: the call for proposals is open from 1st March to 15th May 2023.
We provide successful applicants with access to short-term open access to our top-grade facilities, such as:
- High power lasers: high energy nanosecond Bivoj laser, high repetition rate picosecond PERLA B & PERLA C lasers, DG laser, Astrella laser;
- Stations for laser applications: Laser Induced Damage Threshold, Laser Shock Peening, laser micromachining with PERLA C and with Pharos laser;
- Characterisation devices: Scanning Electron Microscope, X-ray Diffractometer, Raman Spectrometer & Atomic Force Microscope, Laser Scanning Confocal Microscope, PLD workstation and Reflectron time-of-flight mass spectrometer (RETOFMS) combined with vacuum chamber.
The call for proposals is a perfect opportunity both for researchers with an experiment with low repetition rate that needs to be piloted on a high average power, and for researchers preparing an experiment with high average power lasers.
