Dear colleagues,
we would like to invite you to the seminar of Division of Elementary Particle Physics of Institute of Physics, presented by Marek Taševský.

Abstract:
Exclusive processes are useful for precision measurements and comparisons with Standard Model predictions or to provide insight into multidimensional hadron structure but also to look for signals of New Physics (e.g. Dark Matter, Axion-like particles, anomalous couplings or deviations from Standard Model predictions). At Large Hadron Collider they are advantageous by providing simple final states and low irreducible backgrounds for which one usually pays by low production cross sections and significant combinatorial backgrounds. The latter can be effectively suppressed by various approaches, developed since the first LHC collisions. Prospects for searches for Dark Matter and Axion-like particles born exclusively will be shown, and also connections with astroparticle physics or cosmological observations will be discussed.
