Christmas seminar organized by the Department of Dielectrics:
Abstract: I’m interested in non-trilobite arthropods from the Barrandian Area (Czech Republic) which lived in Ordovician Period (450MA). With a few colleagues from all over the world we try to decipher the origin and evolution of this animal group, and its relationship to other species. Quite a large number of arthropods found in Czech localities are rather weird and they seem to be incomparable to any others found so far in the rest of the world. I will focus on brand new discoveries from Czech localities.
