Text

Research programme

The research lab is interested in understanding the how selected physical factors (e.g. novel nanomaterials, mechanical forces of cell microenvironment) affect cellular machinery. Highly motivated researchers are welcome to join the lab and work on MSMT funded research projects.

The postdoctoral fellow will conduct research in revealing molecular mechanisms of physical factors action on liver cancer cells. The fellow is required to have technical and theoretical knowledge related to biophysics, cell biology and molecular biology. Hands-on experience with common techniques in molecular biology and fluorescence microscopy is preferred.

The candidate is expected to lead research projects under the supervision of the PI and publish research findings in reputational peer-reviewed journals. Specific tasks will include design and perform experiments, collection and analysis of data, preparation of reports for peer-reviewed scientific publications, conference presentations, and grant progress reports. The fellow will have opportunities to mentor technicians and graduate students.
